Introduction to Your School

Dance is a sign of life pressing itself out through the body; it stirs us with its energy, and satisfies us with harmony. It demonstrates emotions that cannot be translated into words. Kinetic is due to motion. It symbolises energy and life. It is a science of the relations between the motion of bodies and the force acting on them. When you combine Dance and Kinetic, you create a force of energy that exceeds all boundaries and hence Dance Kinetic - School of Performing Arts was created.

Dance Kinetic is a school specialising in RAD Classical Ballet, Jazz, Modern Contemporary Dance, Modern Expressive Dance, Tap Dance, Acrobatics, Progressions, Jazz & Hip Hop. It is designed to cater for children of all ages and abilities, as well as extending and providing opportunities for those children displaying talent.

Dance helps develop coordination and fitness, improving and correcting poor posture and developing strength and endurance. It nurtures poise, grace and sensitivity and it develops musicality, rhythm and an appreciation of music and the arts. Additionally, the training of dance promotes self-discipline and instills in all children a quiet self assurance and confidence.

Dance Kinetic operates in an enjoyable and professional atmosphere. We encourage performing opportunities and seek to create the best dancers possible. We boast a young and enthusiastic teaching faculty.

Dance Kinetic also offers the HSC 2 unit Dance Syllabus, through correspondence. This is an added bonus for those students wishing to combine their dance tuition with academic study.

We are a dancing school, with an aim to provide your child with a challenging and stimulating Dance Experience. You can be assured that they are safe in the hands of caring, inspirational and extremely well qualified teachers.

CONGRATULATIONS....
A huge Congratulations to ALESSIA ANDERSON who was awarded the Dance Kinetic Scholarship for 2011. The Scholarship entitles a student of my choice, who has worked really hard and shows a considerable amount of potential, to a year of free tuition in all dance styles they wish to learn. Alessia has shown spirit, drive and determination in all styles of dance throughout 2011. We wish Alessia all the best in 2012. Way to go Alessia!!

A reminder to all parents and students that dancing starts back this Monday 30th January at all studios. PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO Eisteddfod Workshop classes or Stretch classes first week back. These classes will commence the week starting Monday 6th February.
